Initial permits filed with Orange County indicate the location of a Chick-Fil-A at Hamlin! Chick-Fil-A is outlined in the preliminary application submitted to the county. A document lists “Chick-Fil-A” as the legal entity, and includes the name “Chick-Fil-A” hand written on every page. While permits have been filed, this is at the VERY early stages of building a new restaurant and changes to Chick-Fil-A coming to Hamlin are still possible. Based on the very early stage in which this was identified, it’s possible Chick-Fil-A would not open until 2020.
Additional plans indicate the building will include Chick-Fil-A’s famous “double drive-thru”, with a long drive-thru extension both before and after the building. These plans clearly represent the popularity of Chick-Fil-A and planning involved to meet the demand. Photos of the plans are below.
The process is in such an early stage, it appears Chick-Fil-A has not even been assigned an address by Orange County. Permit searches only list “New Independence Parkway” as the address. The parcel ID with Orange County is 21-23-27-2719-01-000. This location is near the intersection of New Independence Parkway and Hamlin Groves Trail.
