Horizon West is located within Orange County District 1. This district covers a large area of southwest Orange County, including Disney World, and ranges from 192 to Ocoee, Dr. Phillips area, and parts of Hunters Creek. District 1 is the fastest growing district in Orange County.
Politically, the district is primarily Republican and is currently represented by Betsy Vanderlay.
