Orange County has presented the findings from the Watermark Park community survey. The county received 416 responses to their online survey and conducted a public meeting for feedback.

Watermark Park has an overall budget of $1,200,000 to create the park. Line items in the budget include $200,000 for design, $234,577 for contractor, and $72,068 for site improvements, leaving approximately $700,000 for amenities.
Amenities selected for the conceptual master plan to fill the remaining budget are:
- Playground $311,510
- Paved Walking $110,468
- Picnic Pavilion $50,013
- Open Space $128,230
- Fitness Stations $89,698
Additional possible amenities include:
- Dog Park $48,313
- Community Garden $15,200
- Mini Skate Park $70,000
- Volleyball $15,775
The park is undergoing master planning at this time and then will begin design at the end of 2022. Construction is expected to begin in the first half of 2023 and will take approximately a year and half to complete.
