This event is part of the Air Force’s national outreach program, which aims to engage and inspire the next generation of patriotism. As the Air Force commemorates its 100 years of aerial refueling capabilities, this year also marks the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.

Starting at approximately 10:30 a.m., visitors to Magic Kingdom Park will witness two thrilling flyovers, weather permitting. The display will feature a squadron of F-35 stealth fighter jets flown by the 33rd Fighter Wing, showcasing the Air Force’s remarkable capabilities. Additionally, the first flyover will include a KC-135 tanker flown by the 6th Air Refueling Wing, paying tribute to the Air Force’s century of aerial refueling expertise.
This flyover event exemplifies Disney’s enduring support for the military, a commitment rooted in the actions of the company’s founders, Walt and Roy Disney, who served their country during the First World War. Disney continues to honor military members and veterans with special events like the daily Flag Retreat ceremony at Magic Kingdom Park. During this ceremony, an active-duty military member or veteran is chosen from the park’s visitors to receive recognition.
The Walt Disney Company has spearheaded initiatives such as Heroes Work Here, Heroes Supply Here, and Disney’s Veterans Institute, which focus on hiring, training, and supporting military veterans.
