Sweetwater Carwash Submits Permits For Location Next To Hamlin Wawa

Sweetwater Carwash has submitted plans to Orange County for a new location in Horizon West, situated next to the future Wawa in Hamlin.

Located along Avalon Road and New Independence Parkway, the car wash will provide a new service to this area of Horizon West, with the nearest car wash being Sweetwater’s location in Lakeside Village. Another car wash is also planned across from Orlando Health Hospital.

The strategic location of the new carwash, next to the future Wawa on Avalon Road, further enhances its appeal. As Wawa is a well-known and highly frequented convenience store, the carwash’s proximity will make it even more convenient for customers to take care of their car cleaning needs while running errands or grabbing a snack.

Additional plans and renders of Wawa have also been submitted to the county. Plans indicate the store will include Wawa’s standard offering, including food, indoor beer cooler, and outdoor tables.

New Independence Parkway has already been approved to be expanded to the Lake County line, and will connect directly into the future Olympus Sports Complex in Clermont.

Building elevations indicate the storefront will primarily West and North, but will also feature an entryway for pedestrians along Avalon Road.
