Site Work Begins On SR 516 Toll Road Connector

Site work has begun on the new SR 516 toll road connecting SR 429 to US 27. Construction work is now visible from Schofield Road, which is the entry to the work site, using the future Valencia Parkway path.

In April 2023, a Noise Study was presented that researched the feasibility of noise barriers related to the project, with barriers recommended at Hamlin Reserve and Silverleaf.

The project is expected to take 990 days, with completion occurring by the end of 2027.
