The approval for the 4-Story, 324-Unit Elysian Apartment Complex goes before the Orange County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, March 22. The applicant is requesting to rezone the parcel from A-1 (Citrus Rural District) to Planned Development and seeking approval of a waiver to decrease the setback along the rights-of-way of Avalon and Seidel Road.

The original proposal for this complex had buildings up to 5-stories, but the latest elevation drawings and proposal submitted to Orange County indicate only 4-story buildings are being proposed.

Residents interested in commenting on the request should plan to attend the in-person meeting at 2pm Tuesday, located at the Orange County Administrative Building. Residents can also contact local representatives District 1 Commissioner Nicole Wilson and Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings.
