We were invited to Playa Pizza’s Grand Opening event to taste a variety of their menu items, enjoy a free concert, and watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom. Thank you very much for inviting us!
- Playa Pizza is a New York-style pizza spot with a beachy twist located in Horizon West and within eyesight of Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle.
- The center point of the restaurant is an architecture-award-winning Marana Forni brick oven, direct from Verona, Italy, which was built on-site. It’s the first and only of its kind in the United States.
- All pizza, pasta doughs, and breads are made in-house exclusively using the New York Watermaker, a patented water replication system mimicking the mineral composition of New York City water. This technology allows guests to experience true New York City-style pizzas.
The location does indeed offer incredible views of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom.
If you’re looking for a spot to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks, but don’t want the hassle of going to Magic Kingdom, a visit to Playa Pizza is the perfect answer. It’s important to note though, that parking in this plaza is strictly enforced to ensure only patrons visiting a business are parking.
