If you’ve visited Wal-Mart within the past few weeks, you may have noticed some site work being done out by the parking lot. This work is preparing the property for Hamlin North, a small set of out parcels will continue to expand Hamlin Town Center. An overall design map of Hamlin is available at either Orange Observer or Hamlin.com.

Building permits have been filed for a Wendy’s and Heartland Dental! Permits have also been filed for several “shell” buildings, which are the main building components, with individual tenets building out their units after a lease is signed. Looking at the Hamlin concept maps, a fast food building is clearly outlined along Hamlin Groves Trail, directly south of the gas station. The additional out parcels are located along Hamlin Groves Trail and New Independence Parkway.

Wendy’s will be located at 16007 New Independence Parkway and will be store #11886.
