The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has released body cam video of the shooting that occurred on February 13 at the Citra Apartments in Windermere. The suspect, Laforest Duron Gray Jr, was publicly live streaming the shooting to his followers on Instagram. Several media outlets began showing clips of the Instagram video, which now can also be shown with the perspective from the Sheriff’s Deputies point of view.
The body cam footage shows the intense and dramatic moments right before the shooting. The video is replayed three times, slowing the video down in the second and third replays. During the slow-motion videos the gun drawn and fired by Gray is clearly visible.
