The Orange County Library has opened a new book drop location at Hamlin. The book drop location has been added to help improve library services in the region until the Horizon West Library Branch is constructed and open.
The book drop is collected six days a week, Monday through Saturday, saving Horizon West residents time from having to return a book or media item to the nearest library. Items can be either checked out from a library, or delivered at home through OCLS MAYL (Materials Access from Your Library), which delivers the item request through USPS Priority Mail or First Class Mail instead of holding the item at a library for pickup.
To get access to the Library System and MAYL delivery, getting a library card is easy:
- Visit https://www.ocls.info/using-library/get-or-replace-your-card
- Enter your name and Orange County address
- Enter your Florida Driver’s License or Florida ID number
- Click Submit!
After the form is submitted, you will receive your library card and information in the mail within a two weeks. We received an email within a day of registration with our library card number, allowing us to create an online account and start ordering books!
