The new proto-type Publix at Hamlin Cove opened this morning to an excited community. The Publix design is large and spacious, being noticeably larger than other nearby locations in Lakeside Village, Summerport, and Stoneybrook West. The store features a beautiful bakery, elegant deli area, and expansive wine selections. The produce section is quite large as well and it is obvious that the store carries a wide range of products in all categories. As with all Publix locations, customer service is outstanding as employees are friendly, outgoing, and willing to help.
Unfortunately, Publix did not allow us to take photos while inside the store to share the new experience with readers. However, we did take a walk around the Hamlin Town Center development that has additional stores and restaurants being built. As you can tell with the photos, the exterior of the buildings are nearing completion, but the interior work is still at the beginning stages. No tenants have been confirmed in these spaces yet.
