New York Beer Project, a New York based Brewery with an award-winning craft beer portfolio broke ground Tuesday, September 7th in Winter Garden, Florida. The 24,000 sq. ft. facility featuring a gastropub, indoor beer garden, tap room, sidewalk bistro and 3 NYC themed event spaces is being built on the corner of Seidel Road and Seton Creek Boulevard, close to Disney’s Magic Kingdom. With all these unique spaces, the crowning jewel in the project is the 5,000 sq. ft brewery which will produce all the delicious Craft that pours from its taps. There will also be tables near the production brewery where beer aficionados and the curious can watch the brew team create its magic.
The Brewery, which is being built to re-create an early 1900’s indoor beer garden in New York’s Lower East Side, pays homage to the history of Brewing and beer gardens in the United States. Families, including children, would gather in NYC beer gardens after a hard day’s work to enjoy a drink, some food, and each other’s company. That’s exactly why owners Kelly and Kevin Krupski created New York Beer Project.
“In our hometown of Lockport, New York, there was a large community of people, but not that many places to gather, eat, drink and have fun,” says Kelly. “We built the original location for our community, and that’s what we plan to do in Horizon West. We are fully aware of the tourist element, as we love to visit Orlando and its world class attractions. However, we want to build lasting relationships with the families and residents who live here.”
NYBP plans to release details of the various unique elements of the Brewery in the months leading up to the much anticipated grand opening. They will also be providing details on the NYBP VIP Mug Club which has many “perks” available to its members.
