Hunters Creek Community Association hosted a Meet the Candidates forum on June 5. Candidates attended for US House District 9, FL State Senate District 25, FL House District 44, and Orange County Commissioner District 1.

The session was not a debate, and candidates spoke for approximately 10 minutes and then answered questions from Hunters Creek residents.

While Hunters Creek is within the same district for Orange County Commissioner, none of the other candidates are in districts including Horizon West.

Candidates who attended were:

US House District 9 – Jose Castillo & Thomas Chalifoux
FL State Senate District 25 – Kristen Arrington, Carmen Torres & Jon Arguello
FL House of Representatives District 44 – Jennifer ‘Rita’ Harris
Orange County Commissioner District 1 – Nicole Wilson & Austin Arthur
