What time does trick-or-treat start in Horizon West?
Unlike in some northern states, trick-or-treating in Florida is unregulated and most communities do not designate official times for trick-or-treating.
While there are no official times, in our experience early trick-or-treaters, especially younger kids, start around 6pm, while older kids usually come out a little later at sunset. Most activity has stopped around 9pm, with the occasional kid still out afterwards.
Houses passing out candy should follow standard Halloween guidelines by having their porch light on to indicate candy, or turned off to indicate no candy is available.
