Further expansion of the Hamlin development has started with the clearing of land for Hamlin Phase II. Phase 2 is located west of the current Hamlin development, between 429 and Avalon Road, south of New Independence Parkway. Preliminary plans for the site include residential space, large retail stores, retail shops, office space, a hotel, and several parking garages. This development will be within walking distance to nearby communities, as Ryan Homes as already started a new development to the north of Phase II called Hamilton Gardens.

While clearing has begun, don’t expect any businesses to start occupying this space for several years. Intensive site work, such as electrical, water, and sewage, must all be placed before any buildings are constructed.
