Orange County has launched a traffic calming and pedestrian/bicycle safety study along Hamlin Groves Trail in response to concerns raised by local residents and officials. The study aims to enhance safety for all users—drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians—by evaluating ways to reduce vehicle speeds and improve crossing conditions.

The meeting will be facilitated by District 1 Commissioner Nicole H. Wilson and will include presentations from Orange County staff and project consultants. Proposed improvements include:

New crosswalks
Restricted crossing U-turns (RCUTs)
Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs)
Potential roundabouts and traffic signals
