The developer for Windermere Village, Skorman, has confirmed that Fresh Market will indeed anchor the plaza and open in 2020. According to the Orange Observer, the shell of the building is completed, with just the inside needing to be constructed. No further details were given on the delays or timing within 2020, but Fresh Market began a restructuring of their business model in 2018, which froze new store openings.
In addition to the confirmation of Fresh Market, another popular new restaurant, Burger Fi, will open in the plaza. This will join other restaurants including Agave Azul, Bruster’s Ice Cream, and HUMBL.
