In preparation for upcoming holiday offerings at Disney World and the Magic Kingdom, Disney will be conducting a pre-dawn firework test on October 24, 2019, from 6:15 – 6:45am.
Disney issued the following statement regarding the firework testing:
“Magic Kingdom – Early Morning Audio and Pyro Tests 10/24/19
As we prepare for the winter season at Magic Kingdom, overnight installations, rehearsals and tests for various offerings will take place now through early November. Show level audio and lighting may be used, and pyro will be included on some nights. Guests and Cast in areas surrounding Magic Kingdom may hear some related noises during overnight or early morning hours.
As part of this, a fireworks test will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at approximately 6:15am. From approximately 5:45-6:45am, Floridian Way will be closed from Park 2 to Park 3 at Magic Kingdom. This road closure is the same that Cast are accustomed to during nightly performances of Happily Ever After. Please plan to use alternate routes, such as Floridian Place, if you have an early commute.
Please advise Cast who work late night or early morning schedules of the road closures and potential noise intrusion.”
