Walt Disney World has announced the return of fireworks at both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT starting July 1. Testing for fireworks will occur on June 26 and June 29, according to social media reports. Fireworks have not gone off nightly since the start of the COVID pandemic. Living within close proximity to Magic Kingdom is an added perk of living within Horizon West close to Disney. Many communities can watch the fireworks nightly.
New residents to Horizon West should be aware of the noise associated with nightly fireworks. Close to Magic Kingdom, fireworks can be heard even while inside, but are a unique benefit to living in Horizon West.
HorizonWestInfo will continue to share firework alerts with the community to be aware of firework shows and testing that occur outside of the normal nightly fireworks. Be sure to subscribe to our Horizon West Email Newsletter to receive these updates.
