Orange County Florida Think 5 Recycling Program

Don’t Place These Items In Your Blue Recycling Cart

Posted on February 12, 2018 by HorizonWestInfo Team
Categories: Uncategorized

Since the roll carts have been issued in Orange County, residents continue to place incorrect items in the carts causing problems at the recycling facility. It’s important to only place items that can be recycled in the blue carts, with all other items going into the green bins. The county has sent out the below Tweets to help educate residents.

Green lid roll carts are the right place for garbage – never put garbage in blue recycling roll carts. #OCFLRecycles #OCFLThink5 pic.twitter.com/Bwu8qmGhCl

Don’t bag your recycling in plastic bags! Keep it loose in the blue lid roll carts. #OCFLRecycles #OCFLThink5 pic.twitter.com/zBNCicNmFI

Place only these recyclable items in the roll cart with the blue lid:

Tin, aluminum, steel, and empty aerosol cans

GLASS
Bottles and jars

PAPER

Cereal/shoe/drink boxes
