Disney has released more restaurants and stores that will be coming to their Flamingo Crossings development. Flamingo Crossings sits just outside the Disney World entrance along Western Way and is surrounded by Horizon West. This complex is designed as a tourist destination along with expansive new housing for Disney’s College Program workers, which the program is currently on-hold.
While not immediately intended for local residents, the plaza will offer many amenities not otherwise available in the area. Construction has already started, with the hotels nearing completion and the shell buildings now going up for the stores. Walgreens construction has already started and is further progressed.
