A land owner and developer has submitted a request to Orange County to Rezone 10 acres along Old YMCA Road from Citrus Rural District to Planned Development for Keningston Church. The rezoning will allow for the development of a church community campus, which will include a church, pre-school, soccer field, aquatic center, and gymnasium.
The location is generally located on the south side of Old YMCA Road, approximately 1,150 feet west of Lake Hickory Nut Drive. The application number is LUP-21-03-097 and a zoning hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 26.
