Orange County is inviting Horizon West residents to attend a virtual community meeting regarding the future Watermark Park. The virtual meeting will occur on Wednesday, January 12 from 6 – 7pm. The new park will be located on Seidel Road at Summerlake Grove Street, immediately next to the new elementary school.
District 1 Commissioner Nicole Wilson and Orange County Parks Staff will host the meeting and provide information about the park. Orange County is asking residents to take an Amenities Survey after attending the virtual meeting.
Amenities listed on the survey available for residents to choose from include:
- Fitness area/exercise stations
- Paved walking path/sidewalk
- Tot-lot (ages 2-5)
- Playground (ages 5-12)
- Picnic Pavilion
- Community Garden
- Dog Park
- Volleyball
- Mini-skate Park
- Multi-purpose field/open space
- Other (please specify)
Residents also can enter any additional comments they have regarding the future park.
