A community meeting will be held for a proposed liquor store with bar in the Town Center along Hamlin Groves Trail. The bar will also contain cigar smoking and sales according to the request.

Permits submitted to Orange County show a 14,973 square foot 2-story building situated at the corner of Hamlin Groves Trail and Calamodin Dr, directly across from Bass Park. The request states:

To construct a liquor store / bar with cigar smoking and sales on 0.89 acres (Phase 1) and infrastructure for the entire 4.20 acre site.

The exterior elevations show an outdoor patio on the second floor, but the development plans are not clear which directions the patio will face.

Residents with an interest in this development should plan on attending the Community Meeting on Wednesday, October 4 at 6pm, located at Hamlin Middle School.
