A new brewery and taproom is currently under construction at Hamlin, bringing a new unique business to the area. Home State Brewing Company plans to open later this year with an on-site brewery, taproom, and future outdoor patio. Home State Brewing Company will be located in the Hamlin southeast quadrant, anchored by Cinepolis, and next to Cyclebar. 

Final designs submitted to Orange County for permitting include areas for Grain Crush, Brewhouse, Cellar, and Tap Room. These plans list an outdoor patio as a future expansion not included under the same permit. An interesting design element included with Home State Brewing is four individual bathrooms, instead of separate bathrooms for men and women. This design allows for higher overall bathroom capacity and also requires less space.

The brewery will be located at 16016 New Independence Pkwy and is Parcel ID 20-23-27-2713-01-000.
