The intersection of Avalon Road at Porter Road is currently experiencing excessive flooding on the roadway. Drivers needing to travel through the area should seek alternate routes, as it’s uncertain if OCSO has closed the roadway.

Traffic data indicates backups in each direction of Avalon and on Porter Road. Horizon West has received two days of heavy rain during intense thunder storms, saturating the ground and water management systems.

This intersection is also next to a large development being cleared, which most likely does not have it’s water management infrastructure fully in place.
