The popular new plaza Windermere Village has finally secured a tenant for their empty grocery shell! Aldi has confirmed they will occupy the space and have signed a long term contract. According to the West Orange Times & Observer, Aldi is rapidly expanding in Central Florida and is known for their high-quality store brand products while offering low prices.
The space was long-rumored, and at one point confirmed, to be a Fresh Market grocery store, but never materialized due to corporate challenges with the future direction at Fresh Market.
Aldi will surely be a popular choice for many Horizon West residents, as it brings a high-quality competitor to Publix.
