Permits for a new gas station in Horizon West are getting close to being finalized. 7-11 at The Mark will be located off of Seidel Road and feature 16 new pumps for Horizon West and a 3,454 square foot convenience store.

Being a gas station, multiple permits are involved with Orange County that all need to be approved and issued. Individual permits include site work, shell building, tenant build out, fuel storage tanks, gas canopy, and signage.

Permitting for site work has been issued, and Notice of Commencement’s have been filed for the shell building and tenant build out. Permits for fuel storage tanks and canopy are in Ready to Issue status.
Due to the site not being ready, permits have been extended multiple times with Orange County, and in two cases permits expired. The permit for the shell building is set to expire December 10 if no work was started, and the County has indicated they will not allow any additional extensions for the permit.
