A local Horizon West restaurant in Windermere has announced they are re-opening their dining room on May 1. The restaurant posted “33 & Melt will be reopening for dine in guests May 1. Until then we will continue take out and delivery. Not sure about you but we are over this.”
Facebook users were quick to respond to the post, as it has garnered more comments than the business has actual followers on Facebook. Many users criticized the restaurant for immediately re-opening, especially without outlining how they will implement social distancing procedures.

The State of Florida has established a task force to determine how various businesses, including restaurants, can safely re-open and what additional procedures will need to be taken. Locally, Orange County has also established a task force of local leaders to deal with specific issues to our area.
