Up to 13 additional retail stores are currently being built in Lakeside Village as the complex is expanding. The building is situated between McDonald’s, 7-11, and another build part of the Lakeside Village complex. Initial permits for the building indicate a proposed 9,014 sq. ft. building for future retail on a 0.82 acre parcel of land.((Orange County Fast Track Online Services)) While the plan is for 13 retail outlets, it is possible this number could be less as retailers and restaurants buy out multiple units, combining to make a larger store. This is a common practice and the final result could be as little as 4 – 6 stores.
One of the construction signs posted on the lot indicate a Day Care, however, the address on the same sign is located in Tampa and is not the address of this lot. It is our belief that this sign is simply being reused.
One potential tenet for this space is GNC. There name appeared on one permit that was issued for this lot. The nearest GNC is located in Winter Garden Village and their retail footprint would be appropriate for this location. Outparcels are still being advertised as available for lease.
